Thanks for the correction. I’m impressed you read the whole, aloud! And I do agree that, once you tune-in to it, the prose has a rhythm and expressiveness all its own. So much contemporary Fantasy is written in a kind of blandly grey prose, flavourless and slack and full of cliché, that not only pales in comparison to Eddison, but which fails to create its own elevatated distanced Fantasy vibe.
